11th October 2006 American European Institute hosts major debate on Israel and the Media
Following the recent conflict between Israel and Hizbullah in Lebanon, the American European Institute hosted a panel debate in London focusing on how the media dealt with the conflict and its influence on public opinion towards Israel. This was hosted at Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagougue on Wednesday 13 September and was attended by over 400 people from the Jewish and Non Jewish Community.

10th October 2005 The American European Institute brings together two of America's most senior politicians to debate American European relations

The American European Institute joined with Alston & Bird, European Lawyer and the British American Project in hosting a reception and briefing for the former Senate Majority Leaders Senator Bob Dole (Republican) and Senator Tom Daschle (Democrat) at Claridges on Moday 10th October.

This event brought together over 100 leading politicians, diplomats, senior government officials, business leaders, military representatives, and journalists. The Executive Director of the American European Institute (Dominic Dyer) chaired the briefing with the two Senators who answered questions from the audience on a number of key issues in the American European relationship including the British American Relationship, War on Terror, Global Warming, Turkey EU Accession and Hurricane Katrina.
